Hosted by Social Innovation Lab at Johns Hopkins University
Over the past few years, the Baltimore social innovation ecosystem has grown, attracting new funders, entrepreneurship support organizations, leadership initiatives, and other public, private, and social sector stakeholders. The ultimate vision has been to place Baltimore on the map as a leader to create, invest in, and scale effective solutions to challenging and often systemic social and environmental issues. Yet, there remains a lot of work to be done to see this vision come to fruition.
Throughout spring 2021, stakeholders from the Baltimore social innovation community have convened in various working groups to discuss how to best support our city’s existing and emerging social innovators to succeed.
This 60-minute panel discussion will feature insights from two of these working groups, with the ultimate aim to ignite a conversation around how we can engage more stakeholders towards our goal of building Baltimore better.
